I spent and hour meticulously removing all the band stickers I had covering the body of the laptop with Goo Gone, rubbing alcohol, and Dawn dish soap. Believe me; you're welcome.
This was my daily laptop for more than a decade until I replaced it with a newer one, at which point it was used primarily for music storage and streaming. At some point I replaced the battery and hard drive which extended its life even further (remember when batteries were user replaceable?!) I don't think the battery will hold a charge, but everything else with the laptop is in working order. It even has a CD drive! A CD drive!!!!!
It's honestly incredible that this thing still boots up and operates as well as it does. I wouldn't use this as a daily driver nowadays, but c'mon, the ~ n o s t a l g i a ~ ! It belongs in a museum!
I don't have a power cord to offer with this laptop, but any standard MagSafe chargers from this era will work (not the ones from the refresh a few years later in the 2010s - feel free to try out your existing cord to see if it's compatible!)
A hundred bucks. Will deliver.
