While many owners might like to convince you of a property, we may be of the opposite view. We need to be sure to offer this property to the right person(s) who will be a good fit and not be overwhelmed by the space. This is because many people view living on 23 acres a dream as we are told. The first step is for you to drive out to the property location before you request a tour- we require this! The property is 3 miles east of I-65 on U.S. 231; one mile past the small town of Leroy. If you enter Hebron (which is 3 miles from this property), you missed it! It's a two story white house on the right side of the road just past the creek sign. DO NOT GO UP TO THE HOME - the property is occupied and will be first available in March. You will see paperwork in a clear box at the end of the driveway with our process which will answer your questions about who qualifies.
Living at this property is dependent of what you make of it. We are never opposed to placing a fenced area (with permissions and our knowledge of course) or even the consideration of an outdoor building or other lifestyle choices. The historic grain shed on the property is not available to renters unfortunately. That said, it's the only property that we know of that your kids can play safely outdoors, camp outside, walk a creek (we own the east half of Stoney Run creek along our property), hunt arrowheads, grow a 3 acre garden, hang your laundry outside and more. Most families live for 2 to 3 years at the property. Most stay in touch with us and are on our Christmas Card list forever, so please DO NOT KNOCK on the door. The current family is moving out of the area, but the home is occupied until we believe that we have a viable person to live there. We will schedule tours for persons who provide the qualifying information. We encourage you to email us and place your name in the subject line please. We also text and you can text for our email, but an email helps us to get to know you and you to know us.
For your and our agritainment, call as you may. Our aim is to sow seeds of joy. Lisa and Mike
