Seeking housemate for our clean, comfortable, diverse, LGBTQI+ friendly, quiet, non-smoking home in lovely Oak Park, IL, Of the current housemates (M51, F58, M47, & M37) one travels 80%. Another works 3rd shift and one does not live there primarily. It's a great place for someone who likes occasional co-living interactions. We share 2 bathrooms easily since we have varying schedules. There’s a stainless steel, well-stocked kitchen, central heat and a/c, private patio and yard, high ceilings, exposed wood, W/D and shared library, games and a treadmill.

The room:
Second floor room is furnished with a full bed, like-new mattress, dresser, nightstand and talk bookcase. It’s next to a full bath, receives morning light but also has 2” wood blinds and a light blocking drape.

With wifi, gas, water, and electric capped at $200, and rebate for an additional housemate (you) the total monthly cost is $1150. You must have documented income at least 3 times this amount. Inquire about rates for two people or two rooms.

Municipal parking is available a half block away at $50/mo. The house is in the Harrison Arts District in Oak Park near Harrison and Ridgeland, 4 short blocks from the CTA Blue line train and then a 25 min ride to the Chicago loop.

There's no smoking.
